Director, Breakdance Program
Having honed his skills on the streets of his hometown, Jesse credits his strong will, perseverance and family support for helping him follow his dreams. Jesse considers his dance style to be "straight b-boyism."
As one of Canada’s TOP 20 in So You Think You Can Dance Canada 2008, Jesse showcased himself not just as a dancer but more importantly as an artist. He used this opportunity as an outlet to show the entire nation what he is capable of doing, and to spotlight the true dance talent Canada has to offer.
Known for his signature dance move, the ‘coffee grinder-torpedo-coin drop-jump-jazz split-chair freeze’, Jesse’s positive outlook and Never Say Never attitude keeps him motivated to continually show himself as a dancer with heart.
As a music lover, Jesse is never far from his iPod. He gives a nod to infamous dancer Fred Astaire when describing his own fashion style, calling it "Fred Astaire meets Kanye West - gentleman meets b-boy."
Since joining the BSD Teaching Crew in 2005, Jesse continues to grow as an artist by expanding his training and teaching methods. Jesse now inspires students and leads our ever-growing ‘boys only’ classes in Breakdance, Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance.
BSD is excited to have Jesse join us for another creative season. |

B.S.D. Event Photographer
I have been an amateur photographer since I have been able to hold a camera, worked as a portrait photographer and am an avid sport and wild life photographer. I shoot with my trusted canon 20 D and a eos 5 D mark II. I use Apple Mac's to process my work. My photography has been a way for me to express my artistic side and has allowed me to be a part of my children's passion, dance.
I became a part of B.S.D. when my children, Samantha and Kirsten had started dance lessons about six years ago. It has also opened the opportunity for me to provide the studio and the student with quality pictures. My photos tell the story of the hard work, the dreams and the fun the kids have at B.S.D. I am proud of these kids and the teachers here at B.S.D. and I am honored to be part of the studio.
