Although Burlington Studio Dance is welcoming Melissa as a new addition to our faculty, she is certainly not a newcomer to the BSD family. Attending dance at BSD from the age of four, Melissa has trained in several dance disciplines under the current faculty; studying ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, contemporary and many more artistic styles.

Melissa successfully attained C.D.T.A. Jazz Examinations with Honours and is currently working towards her Full Teachers Certificate. Melissa was also apart of the BSD competitive program which allowed her to fully understand the diversity of dance and the meaning of determination.

For many years, Melissa has volunteered her time at BSD and was able to assist with competitive and recital choreography. Her love for teaching children will reflect in her time at BSD. It is this experience that allows her to truly appreciate this globally undervalued art form.

Through her many years of participating in the classes at Burlington Studio Dance it has been her dream to teach, this opportunity has made her dream a reality!
